When it comes in handy
For one or two loads, the apartment's washing machine is enough. In Angel you can dry in the tumble dryer as well. Every apartment has a drying rack.
The Laundromat saves you when there's a mountain of clothes. A family back from a week on the islands, a group leaving tomorrow morning, blankets and sheets: you run three or four washers at once and finish in an hour instead of a whole afternoon.
How it works
- Put your clothes in a washer and choose a programme.
- Pay with coins at the machine and press START. The detergent goes in automatically.
- Move the wet clothes to a dryer and start the drying cycle.
- Fold them on the large stainless-steel counter in the middle of the shop.
While you wait, you can sit in the waiting area or simply go back upstairs and come down when the cycle is done.
💡 What can and can't be washed
Duvets, blankets, sheets and pillows are fine, on the right programme. Shoes, rugs and pet items are not allowed in the machines. The washers take coins. If you don't have any, there's a coin machine in the Eat & Drink corner.

At the back of the shop there's a small corner with seats and a vending machine with water, soft drinks and snacks. Next to it is the coin machine, for when you don't have change for the washers. The corner is handy while you wait, and when you want a cold water late at night without walking to the kiosk.

Skroutz Point and ACS Point: your parcels on the ground floor
On the same ground floor there are Skroutz Point and ACS Point lockers. If you order something during your stay in Athens, you can pick it up downstairs instead of waiting for the courier in the apartment.
- When ordering, choose delivery to a Skroutz Point (Skroutz) or an ACS Point (ACS) and select the Ioulianou 50 location.
- When the parcel arrives, you get an SMS with a PIN code on the mobile number you gave.
- Type the code on the locker and the door with your parcel opens.
Don't leave it too long: each network keeps the parcel in the locker for a few days, and the deadline is in the message.

What are the opening hours?
The laundromat is open every day, 365 days a year, 07:00–00:00.
Do I need to bring detergent?
No. The Laundromat washers add detergent to the cycle automatically.
How long does a full wash and dry take?
Less than an hour in total, according to the shop.
Is it worth it if my apartment has a washing machine?
For a few clothes, the apartment's machine is enough. For lots of clothes, blankets, or when you're leaving in a few hours, the Laundromat washes several loads at once and dries them in professional dryers.
Can I send a parcel to the apartment address?
You can, but someone has to be in when the courier arrives. With Skroutz Point or ACS Point your parcel waits for you in the locker downstairs.
