🪪 The list at a glance
🔥 How we ranked them
The order is based on Google Trends: how much each island was searched for worldwide over the last 12 months. Crete is first by a wide margin, followed by Rhodes, Santorini and Corfu. Lower on the list does not mean less beautiful: it often means fewer people, lower prices and a more authentic life.
The price is the cheapest one-way economy fare for summer 2026, rounded. High-speed boats and cabins cost more, and prices vary by company and date. For excursion boats, the price includes the return trip. Last updated: October 2026.
